International Student University Entrance Fair(SUEF) ISF 외국인유학생 대학 및 대학원 입학정보페어(SUEF)
International Student University Entrance Fair(SUEF) is an International university entrance fair dedicated exclusively to international students. Hosted by Stuvisor, this one-of-a-kind event brings together top-tier Korean universities and trusted study-abroad agencies to offer on-site admissions consulting, tailored guidance, and direct connections to future academic opportunities.
In its inaugural edition, the event brings together leading universities, graduate schools, and study-abroad agencies to deliver admission interviews, consulting sessions, and networking opportunities for international students aspiring to study in Korea, as well as for exhibitors looking to promote their institutions and services.

ISF 외국인유학생 대학 및 대학원 입학정보페어(SUEF)는 외국인 유학생 전용 입학 상담 페어로, Stuvisor 주최 하에 우수한 한국 대학들과 유학 전문 기관들이 한자리에 모입니다. 참가자는 현장에서 입학 관련 맞춤형 컨설팅을 받을 수 있으며, 국내 고등교육 기관과의 직접적인 네트워킹 기회를 통해 진학 방향성을 구체화할 수 있습니다.
첫 번째로 개최되는 이번 행사는, 한국 유학을 희망하는 외국인 유학생들과 함께 입학 인터뷰, 전문 유학 컨설팅, 네트워킹 프로그램을 제공하기 위해, 국내 유수의 대학교 및 대학원, 그리고 유학 전문 기관들이 한자리에 모입니다. 이 행사는 또한 유학생을 대상으로 기관 및 서비스를 홍보하고자 하는 참가자(Agency / University / Service Provider)들에게 유학생 유치의 기회를 제공합니다.
해당 페어는 다음과 같은 대상 간의 연결을 중심으로 운영됩니다:

With the goal of enhancing educational competitiveness through the recruitment of outstanding domestic and international talent, the International Student Fair (ISF) is launching the 1st Stuvisor University Entrance Fair(SUEF). This event follows ISF’s successful career and startup fair for international students and is dedicated to supporting their transition into Korean undergraduate and graduate programs.
SUEF has been organized to promote the internationalization of higher education in Korea and to provide practical information and career planning support to international students who are interested in advancing their academic journey within the country.
In 2023, the Korean Ministry of Education introduced the ‘Study Korea 300K Project’, a national initiative aimed at attracting 300,000 international students by 2027. This project positions Korea as a top 10 global study destination and involves a comprehensive policy framework to enhance the quality and appeal of Korean higher education to international applicants.
Globally, international student recruitment has become a key component of national talent strategies. Countries around the world are implementing aggressive policies—including large-scale investment and visa policy reforms—to secure global talent.
- United Kingdom: Targeting 600,000 international students by 2030 with £35 billion in annual investment - France: Aiming for 500,000 students by 2027, with simplified visa procedures - Japan: Planning to host 380,000 international students by 2033
In line with these trends, the number of international students in Korea has continued to rise, nearly doubling over the past decade. Today, more than 200,000 international students are studying across the country. Many begin their studies through language programs before advancing to undergraduate or graduate programs, while others choose further education when job opportunities are limited. Additionally, foreign residents in Korea are showing growing interest in a wider range of academic disciplines and regional universities.
As a result, Korean universities are increasingly called upon to serve as key institutions in global talent acquisition. SUEF is positioned as a meaningful first step in achieving this vision, empowering universities to take a more active role in international student recruitment. The fair is also expected to expand internationalization opportunities for institutions and contribute to greater diversity and academic quality among Korea’s international student population.
국내외 우수 인재 유치를 통한 교육 경쟁력 제고를 목표로, ISF(International Student Fair)는 외국인 유학생을 위한 취·창업 페어에 이어 제1회 외국인유학생 대학 및 대학원 입학정보페어(이하 SUEF)를 개최합니다.
이번 행사는 대한민국 고등교육의 국제화를 강화하고, 외국인 유학생의 학부 및 대학원 진학에 대한 실질적 정보 제공과 진로 설계를 지원하기 위한 목적으로 마련되었습니다.
2023년 교육부는 ‘Study Korea 300K 프로젝트’를 발표하며, 2027년까지 외국인 유학생 30만 명 유치를 목표로 하는 유학생 교육 경쟁력 제고 방안을 공표한 바 있습니다. 해당 프로젝트는 대한민국이 세계 10대 유학강국으로 도약하는 것을 목표로 하며, 이를 위해 외국인 유학생 유치 정책을 체계적으로 추진하고 있습니다.
글로벌 유학생 유치 경쟁은 각국의 미래 인재 확보 전략의 핵심 과제로 부상하고 있습니다. 이에 따라 주요 국가들은 대규모 투자와 비자 정책 완화 등 적극적인 정책을 도입하고 있습니다.
- 영국: 2030년까지 유학생 60만 명 유치 및 연간 350억 파운드 투자 - 프랑스: 2027년까지 유학생 50만 명 유치 및 비자 취득 절차 간소화 - 일본: 2033년까지 유학생 38만 명 유치 목표
이러한 흐름 속에서 국내 외국인 유학생 수도 지속적으로 증가하고 있습니다. 최근 10년간 두 배 가까이 증가하여 현재 약 20만 명 이상의 외국인 유학생이 국내에서 학업을 이어가고 있으며, 어학연수 후 학부 또는 대학원 진학을 희망하거나, 취업이 여의치 않은 경우 진학을 선택하는 사례도 증가하고 있습니다. 한국에 거주하는 외국인들 역시 다양한 전공 분야와 지역 대학 진학에 대한 관심을 높이고 있는 추세입니다.
이에 따라 국내 대학은 글로벌 인재 확보의 중심축이 되어야 하며, 본 SUEF 행사는 그러한 목표를 실현하기 위한 실질적인 첫걸음으로 평가됩니다. 외국인 유학생 유치에 있어 대학이 보다 적극적인 역할을 수행할 수 있도록 지원하고, 나아가 대학의 국제화 기회를 확대하며 유학생의 국적 다변화 및 질적 성장을 이끄는 계기가 될 것으로 기대됩니다.
